Exentec is developing, manufacturing and qualifying filter fan units. Our extensive experience in this field has given us in-depth understanding of our customers’ processes and needs. Specialized products such as FFU-RA (return air) and PIFF (plenum integrated filter fan) units are the results of our expertise. Filter Fan Unit Silent
Filter Fan Units (FFUs) from Exentec are designed to supply individual workstations or entire clean rooms with clean air. Thanks to the symmetrical design of the sound-absorbing internal flow devices, the air velocity after the filter is very uniform and the sound power level is very low. The FFU SILENT is particularly suitable for applications in clean rooms with unidirectional (laminar) air flow and high requirements for the uniformity of the exhaust air velocity and the sound level.

Filter Fan Units (FFUs) from Exentec are designed to supply clean air to individual workstations or entire cleanrooms. Due to its low height, the FFU COMPACT is particularly suitable for cleanrooms with low plenum heights.
Filter Fan Unit Eco 2
Filter Fan Units (FFUs) from Exentec are designed to supply clean air to individual workstations or entire cleanrooms. Thanks to its simple design, the FFU offers a good compromise in terms of power consumption, sound power level and price. The FFU ECO 2 is particularly suitable for applications in clean rooms with non-unidirectional (turbulent) air flow.

Filter Fan Unit CWIC E
The CWIC® system is a versatile system: individual Filter Fan Units (CWIC® modules) can be connected to form cleanroom ceilings of different sizes, e.g. for machine enclosures, clean workbenches or clean work booths. The modular design enables a quick and cost-effective cleanroom construction that can be suspended from the ceiling or supported from the floor by plinths.
Filter Fan Unit RETURN AIR EC
Exentec Filter Fan Units RETURN AiR (FFU-RA) are suitable for equipping complete cleanroom systems. The FFU-RA is designed for use in turbulent cleanroom areas and offers the advantage of a reduced return air volume due to conventional return air areas and coolers in the cleanroom by approx. 50 %.
Filter Fan Unit IRC
Filter Fan Units Integrated Recirculation and Cooling (FFU-IRC) are suitable for equipping entire cleanroom areas and are particularly suitable for cleanroom areas with high ceilings and limited exhaust air space. The FFU-IRC is used exclusively in “turbulent” cleanrooms with max. 50 % filter occupancy. Thanks to integrated, space-saving return air ducts, no additional return air areas in the form of return air shafts and raised floors are required in the building.
Filter Fan Unit PIFF
The Plenum Integrated Filter Fan (PIFF) is a local recirculation unit with integrated return air grille, HEPA filter and air cooler. It is used for turbulent mixed air supply while simultaneously reducing the particle concentration and temperature in cleanroom environments such as pharmaceutical facilities or other demanding environments. Compared to conventional supply air systems with central air handling units, there are no supply and extract air ducts above the clean room ceiling, which saves a considerable amount of space and reduces planning costs.
Our PIFF3 is designed for semiconductor and pharmaceutical facilities while our PIFF4 Designed especially for pharmaceutical facilities.
Filter Fan Unit PIFF Compact
The Plenum Integrated Filter Fan (PIFF-COMPACT) is a filter fan with integrated return air and cooling coil. It is used to supply a turbulent mixed air flow while simultaneously reducing the particle concentration and temperature in clean environments, e.g. in pharmaceutical laboratories and cleanrooms. Compared to standard supply air systems with a central air treatment unit, the supply and exhaust air ducts above the cleanroom ceiling can be omitted, resulting in considerable space savings and a reduction in planning costs.
